Munich, October 10, 2018. KPS, a leading consulting partner for digital transformation, has successfully implemented the SAP Concur cloud solution at Danish window giant VELUX. The manufacturer of roof windows and sun protection solutions, which operates in more than 40 countries, uses this mobile application to streamline and optimize global travel expense management: Employees benefit from quick-and-easy entry, forwarding, and approval of their expense claims.
Because the changeover affects the entire group, it was important for VELUX to implement a user-friendly, standardized solution for travel expense accounting that meets global guidelines and regulations as well as various regional requirements.
VELUX opts for SAP Concur in the cloud
In just a few months, KPS moved VELUX’s travel expense management in Denmark and Poland to SAP Concur. The United Kingdom, Ireland, and the United States will now follow in phase two. Previously, the group used a mix of different de-centralized systems, which no longer met the global player’s requirements. The processes were implemented entirely from global and regional perspectives.

Compliance, control and transparency
The initiative focused on rapid implementation, user-friendliness, mobile access, and observance of compliance guidelines, financial targets, and global and regional legislation. With SAP Concur, all information and documents are now managed transparently in a single app.

Credit card withdrawals or photos of receipts are simply transferred automatically to the expense report. The automated process reduces administrative effort and costs and ensures total transparency. Users can not only enter their travel expenses quickly and easily from any mobile device; they can also view the status of their travel expenses at any time and are automatically notified when they are reimbursed.
Reduced costs and better conditions with partners
The changeover to the fully digital and mobile system facilitates internal reviews of compliance, financial targets, and legal regulations and considerably reduces the error rate in accounting. Reporting is easy for users and management alike. The transparency that the new solution delivers for all expenses, including flight, hotel, and car rental costs, also enables VELUX to negotiate better conditions with partners.
